Mobvista is one of the largest and most successful advertising technology companies in China. It operates under the Nativex, Mintegral and GameAnalytics brands, and went public at the end of 2018 with a valuation of more than $400m.

With almost the entire marketing team based in China, we have worked closely with Mobvista since 2017 on a PR programme encompassing media outreach, inbound content creation, event support, research and insight, plus building its in-house blog and newsletter.

China’s tech industry is a match for anywhere else in the world, and the ubiquity of mobile phones has led to the creation of huge global companies such as Tencent, Alibaba and TikTok.

But many preconceptions about China still exist. Our strategy has been to showcase many of the things that makes China a big opportunity for Western brands, as well as educating companies on how to navigate the Chinese market.

Following a brand refresh at the start of 2020, Mobvista reorganised the way its business is structured, with Nativex becoming the global, customer-facing brand.

To better support this strategy we shifted our emphasis away from media coverage and towards creating better quality web content which can be used on the blog and cross-promoted on social media.
