BACKGROUND

GetSocial is a Social and viral layer for mobile apps and games. Developers implement the solution to grow customer loyalty and retention via ‘friend get friend’ loyalty mechanics, newsfeeds, custom notifications and more. GetSocial approached us to help them with several projects to help showcase their work and increase their industry profile.

WE CREATED AN INFOGRAPHIC WITH SONIC AND HIS PALS TO BRING THE DATA TO LIFE

We worked with GetSocial on several projects. The first was a case study of how it had integrated its platform with top-selling mobile game Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. Using approved assets, we worked closely with SEGA and GetSocial to create a vibrant infographic that conveyed the positive effects that GertSocial had on the game and its revenues. We also put out a press release announcing the results of a study that GetSocial had undertaken of 60 million mobile gamers.

OUR CONTENT-LED STRATEGY HELPED GETSOCIAL LAND MEDIA COVERAGE AND SECURE THEIR EVENTUAL ACQUISITION

In terms of press coverage, we secured GetSocial coverage for both projects in their target industry media, including Pocketgamer.biz, Business of Apps, Gamasutra and Gamesindustry.biz.  The infographic also drove large volumes of inbound traffic and helped GetSocial capture leads. Soon after, the company was bought by Keywords Studios.
