New B2B conferences, exhibitions, media & consulting services company, Futurum Media, approached us to launch the inaugural AI Summit event. Working as their media partner, we were responsible for getting media coverage in the run-up to the event, as well as getting media to attend the show itself.
LONDON'S NEWEST CONFERENCE BASED ON EXPLORING AI IN BUSINESS WANTED TO DRIVE MEDIA COVERAGE OF ITS FIRST EVENT
WHAT WE DID
First, we identified key influencers in the media who were writing about AI in business and secured over 18 journalists – the majority from national press and top-tier technology media. We then arranged show-floor interviews for some of the key speakers. We also live-Tweeted on behalf of AI Summit during the event. And finally, we secured three slots on the BBC’s most prestigious morning news radio show, The Today Programme on Radio 4, which today reaches 7.4 million weekly listeners.
WE SAW AN INCREDIBLE MEDIA RESPONSE INCLUDING A LIVE SPECIAL ON RADIO 4
Within the confines of a limited budget, we drove top-tier media attendance at the event, resulting in over 25 pieces of positive coverage from the event including The Guardian, Business Insider, TechWeekEurope, TechWorld, Information Age and Computer Business Review. The Radio 4 coverage alone was of incredible value to the event, delivering ROI far beyond the entire PR and marketing budget. And the social media management on the day built an effective social media footprint for the event.
The AI Summit has since become the world’s largest AI event series for business.
